Dori


Dori Alkalay, holds a M. Eng. (2015) and B.Sc. Eng. (1995) from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Technion, majoring in transportation and road engineering.

Dori Alkalay has extensive and broad experience in design and maintenance of pavements.

During his military service, he worked in the field of air-field pavements- Flexible and rigid, responsible and in charge of the infrastructure of roads and runways in the Air Force.

As well he has worked and works in the civilian sector.

This experience is reflected on several levels- in the design of new structure pavements, rehabilitation of pavements, management and establishment of information systems for engineering analysis of the state of the infrastructure, its supervision at the highest level, conducting researches, giving professional lectures, course and seminars, and performing ongoing consultations.

Duhifat Engineering Ltd. is a company established by Engineer Dori Alkalay, and is primarily engaged in performing structure design of various types of pavements and different designations:
• Roads - urban and interurban  • Airports - runways, taxiways and aprons  • etc.

• Airports Authority - Building design services, engineering consultation, uppermost supervision  • Netivei Israel (the National Israeli Transport Infrastructure Company Ltd.) - Research services.
• IACIE -Israeli Association of Construction & Infrastructure Engineers (Engineers Association) – Coordinator of the course and principal lecturer on the subject of structure design of Pavement, Earthworks and Paving.
• Various Planning & Design Offices – Engineering Design services, consultation, supervision and so on.  • The Israeli Air Force – Design and continuous consulting
•Israel Laboratory Accreditation Authority- certification of laboratories in the field of earthworks and road construction.
